School District Highlight: Ozark

Ozark School district remains one of the most popular school systems in Southwest MIssouri.  The district served 5,787 students, in 2019,  through nine school buildings plus an FFA Farm and  Career Center.

The graduation rate sits at an astounding 97.2%, 53% of those graduates qualified for A+ Scholarships.  According to greatschools.org, all district schools fall between a 7-9 rating!  One of the highest in our are!

To further their education opportunities  In 2011, Ozark High School was authorized as an International Baccalaureate World School. The IB diploma program is a rigorous college preparatory program for students in their junior and senior years. The program is recognized internationally as a comprehensive preparation for post-secondary education. 

Ozark offers numerous academic opportunities outside of the normal classroom setting. 

GO CAPS is a partnership for students to attend “school” at places of business in healthcare, business, IT or engineering/manufacturing fields.  This program helps students gain experience and exposure to industry leaders in a high demand career field. 

Another big success for Ozark Schools is the agriculture programs.  Ozark FFA has over 300 members and is one of the largest chapters in the state.  The school owns and operates its own FFA Farm.  

Cheering on the Ozark Tigers is a big part of this district’s culture.  The Ozark Tigers have a rich athletic history with many state runs  and championships in multiple sports!  Not only is the community cheering on the athletic programs but other extracurriculars as well!  The activities for students to get involved in are endless!
