The craft breweries are flowing in Southwest Missouri! Over the past few years more local establishments have been popping up... luckily, the Springfield area is home to some of the best.

All of these breweries bring delicious drinks and fun to their space.  On any given night  you can find great patios, outdoor games, trivia nights, live music or special events going on!  It’s okay if you aren’t a beer fan, many offer ciders and seltzers!

Still a little weary of going out?  Most places let you get growlers to-go of your favorite beers and some places even deliver.  Yes, you read that right...deliver!

With warmer weather upon us, grab your friends and head out to one of the many local breweries.   Take a look at the go-to places in our area:

Springfield Brewing Company, 305 S. Market Ave., Springfield

Everyone knows “Brew Co.” when mentioned!  Not only are they known for their One of the longest standing breweries in Springfield, they celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2017.  Springfield Brew Co. focuses on creative and traditional English, German and American style ales and lagers.  Not only are the drinks fantastic...so is their food!

Lost Signal Brewing, 610 W. College St., Springfield

Look for the blinking radio tower downtown and it will show you the way to Lost Signal Brewing!  The indoor and outdoor space will make you want to stay long enough to fill up on yummy slow cooked BBQ and their signature brews.  They even offer brunch on Sunday’s!

Tie & Timber, 1451 E. Cherry St., Springfield

Nestled in the Rountree area is Tie and Timber. They wanted to create a neighborhood brewery that anyone who lived in the area could walk too.  The idea came from the owner's time in Denver, Co. where breweries seem to be on every corner. It is encouraged for those who come to bring along their favorite fare to enjoy in the taproom or on the patio!

Mother’s Brewing Company, 215 S. Grant Ave., Springfield

In the heart of downtown sits Mother’s Brewing Company.  Established in 2011, it is one of the most well known breweries in the area.  Check out their taproom for special releases, live music and other special events! They are known for hosting some awesome parties!

Hold Fast Brewing, 235 N. Kimbrough., Springfield

Hold Fast is the first female-owned brewery in Springfield! Besides their expertly crafted beers, the venue is a reason to visit.  Hold Fast is located at Fire Station #1 and if you hang out in the taproom check out the floors - they left the parking lines for the fire trucks!

White River Brewing, 505 W. Commercial Street, Springfield

Located on historic C-Street, this small batch craft brewery focuses on producing beers with excellent flavor, character and finish!  They love creating beers they like to drink with the people they like the drink with! Don’t miss out on the fun atmosphere!

Prehistoric Brewing Company, 1816 S. Glenstone Ave., Springfield

Prehistoric Brewing is a small, upstart brewing company. Recently they introduced a Harry Potter inspired beer. The Dracorex Hogwartsia's Buttered Beer is their take on the classic wizard drink!  Need one more reason to go check them out...the volcano bar top!

Great Escape Beer Works, 4022 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield

Nestled in the heart of Galloway, you will find their ever- changing menu of high quality craft beers and more! The second floor provides a nice overlook of the Galloway area.  Make sure to check out their event calendar...they host fun events like Yoga & Beer!

4 by 4 Brewing Company, 2811 E. Galloway St., Suite A, Springfield

Community is important to the 4 by 4 Brewing Company owners. Located across from Sequiota Park -  you can grab a drink after a run or biking the Galloway Trail!
