If you love the adrenaline rush of haunted houses or you like things jumping out at you, we have your Fall To-Do list right here.

We have found all the  best “haunt” spots in Southwest Missouri for you to enjoy! From corn mazes, to four story haunted houses - they are all on this list for you!

Which ones will you be going too?

Hotel of Terror/Dungeons of Doom
Springfield, MO

Located in Downtown Springfield

Springfield’s TWO oldest and largest haunted houses.

The Hotel of Terror was established in October 1978. It was opened for the kids to have something safe and fun to do during the Halloween season. Owners strive to provide a safe place to bring your whole family. There is always some sort of creature lurking around each corner. They use all four floors and you get to exit down the 96 foot slide.

They have had the privilege to scare your grandparents, parents, you, your kids and grandchildren to come for forty plus years and look forward to many more.

OPEN ::: September 10 - October 31 (Check link for specific dates and times)

Field of Screams Haunted Forest & The Lost Trail Corn Maze

Nixa, MO
Distance from Springfield - 20 minutes

Southwest Missouri's newest Haunted Attraction has been totally redesigned and is back at Summers at the River!  It is bigger and better than ever… so you can come face to face with your fears, both past and present! Field of Screams now features two different and immersive experiences.

Take a 3/4 mile stroll through our Haunted Trail, Corn Field and Haunted Forest where your  nightmares become a reality this fall! Conveniently located alongside the James River!

OPEN ::: September 24 - October 31 (Check link for specific dates and times)

The Haunted Mines at Pumpkin Hollow

Ash Grove, MO
Distance from Springfield - 30 minutes

Southwest Missouri's Newest Haunted Attraction opens this fall in Ash Grove, Mo!!

Something is stirring beneath the surface. One of Missouri’s oldest Lead mines, sunk in 1875, has been disturbed and there will be a reawakening!

OPEN ::: September 24 - October (Check link for specific dates and times)

Monster Corn Maze

Cabool, MO
Distance from Springfield - 1 hour

The Monster Corn Maze is more than just a corn maze haunt.  We have delved deep into a dark wooded forest, but before you can escape the corn to the woods our 3 story house of horror blocks your path.  The creatures who once had infested only the corn have consumed an entire village that has grown within the infected woods.  Scream all you can but don't expect to be heard, for the village walls and thick wooded forest have a way of muffling the extreme screams that the creatures you encounter are sure to invoke.

OPEN ::: September 24 - October 30 (Check link for specific dates and times)

RIP at Myer’s Inn

Carthage, MO

Distance from Springfield - 1 Hour

Featuring over 12,000 square feet of terror, the Myer's Inn Haunt is not for the faint of heart. Room after room of frightening fun, come face to face with the creepiest of creatures that lurk throughout!  Each room is uniquely themed and different from the next, complete with eerie hallways, darkness, strobe lights and macabre music. This is one hotel where you may not want to stay the night - that is, if you make it out alive!

OPEN ::: (Check link for specific dates and times)

Fear Factory
Mountain Grove, MO

Distance from Springfield -  1 hour

You will enter into a large indoor dark and spooky Labyrinth which will then take you through over 30 Haunted rooms with many different haunted themes. Fear Factory is new and exciting and will be sure to scare the daylights out of you!

OPEN ::: September 17 - October 31 (Check link for specific dates and times)

Haunted River Float

Waynesville, MO

Distance from Springfield - 1 Hour and 20 minutes

The Haunted River Float is a twist on the typical Haunted House concept. As soon as you pull onto the property you will begin to experience the uniqueness of this haunt. The 1/2 mile float on the river, in the dark with River Monsters, is only the beginning of this scare.

OPEN ::: September 10 - October 30 (Check link for specific dates and times)

Labyrinth of Fear

Nevada, MO

Distance from Springfield - 1 hour and 30 minutes

Tales of hauntings are deep in the history of Nevada. With the souls that never came to peace from the Blue and Gray Battles, to the hangings on the Courthouse lawn, to the death of Madame Blitz at Cottey College ……. the potential for spirit unrest is great.
