Fall Fun Guide: Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patches

September and October are the perfect months for festivals and other outdoor events. We have compiled the best-of lists for all of those family fun fall things!  Starting with fun for the whole family...corn mazes, pumpkin patches, hay rides and more!

Exeter Corn Maze & Haunted Attractions
Exeter, MO

The Exeter Corn Maze is a fun, family experience located in Southwest Missouri! Our 8 acre Kid Friendly Corn Maze offers fun for all ages and is sure to keep you busy during the day and night. We have the area's largest pumpkin patch, with over 75 acres of different pumpkin varieties and prices no one can beat. 

With the All The Food, Corn Maze, The Haunted Barn, The Bunker, Zombie Paintball, Hayrides, Haunted Corn Maze, Pumpkin Jumps, Cow Train, Petting Zoo, Birthday Porch, Fire-pits, Corn Cannons, Pumpkin Cannon, Paintball Shootout Shack, Movie Room, Photo-ops, Ziplines, Corn Pit, Rock Wall, Pig Races, Pumpkin Eating Dragon, Axe Throwing, Hay Maze, Giant Slide and Go Karts, we really do offer something for all ages.

Hale’s Fall Harvest

Republic, MO

Hale's Fall Harvest is open Sept. 8 through Halloween this year. The farmer's market style space includes a variety of fall decorations for sale, along with 23 different types of pumpkins, mums, corn and gourds. This year, there are plans to add a movie night at the pumpkin patch during the last weekend of September. Dates are to be determined. Free Entry.

The Modern Homestead

Ash Grove, MO

The Modern Homestead has something for everyone in the family!

Swing by and check out the pumpkins, a variety of colored mums, corn stalks, straw bales, fall candles, and TONS of fall home decor new and old!  Shopping at our Modern Homestead Mercantile and Market is free. 

This year we are introducing the Pumpkin Hollow with a 10 acre corn maze, fire pits, hay rides, attractions, decor, petting zoo and MUCH more!!

Pickin’ Patch Farm

Marionville, MO

Celebrating its 30th season, Pickin' Patch Farm is open Friday, Sept. 16 through Sunday, Oct. 30 this year. The farm offers hayrides, pumpkin picking and a corn maze. Pumpkins, squash, gourds and other fall decorations are available for purchase. Admission is $6 for ages 3 and up.

Aurora Maize 

Aurora, MO

The MAiZE in Verona, Missouri has moved! Last year, 2020, was a difficult one but we plan to open this season with an eye on precautions that may be needed.  The MAiZE has been an area Fall farmin’ fun tradition for our family and many other families and groups! Come out and see what all the fuss is about!

The 5-acre cornfield maze (a tribute to donuts this year) is the big attraction at Aurora Maze, and we always invite folks to Get Lost! and Have Fun! But that’s not all of the fun at the Maze. We have campfires, old-fashioned hayrides, a giant jumping pillow, and more!

Kids and kids-at-heart will love taking a turn on the Jumbo Jumper — it’s a giant-sized jumping pillow. Pump up your adrenaline with some of our favorites — Boxer Jocks, the Twin Spin, Mechanical Bull, The Last Ride, Rat Rollers, Cow Train, Movie Nights and much, much, more. The Lil’ Kernel’s Corner is a play area for our smaller visitors, with a Corn Box, Bouncer, and more.

The Barnhouse Pumpkin Patch

Brookline, MO

Barnhouse Pumpkin Patch & Festival is the place to be for all your fall needs. We have a variety of pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, milo stalks, Indian corn, hedge apples, straw, mums, and scarecrows. When you are done stocking up for fall, stay and enjoy our fall festival with the kiddos. We have tons of games, a hay maze, photo ops with the caboose, an outdoor movie theater, pumpkin painting, and a bounce house. Food and Craft vendors will also be in attendance on weekends.

Fieth Family Farm

Bolivar, MO

The Fieth Family Farm offers a wide range of family-friend activities, like a corn maze, hayrides and playground area. Jack-o'-lanterns, painted pumpkins, cornstalk bundles and gourds are available for purchase. Guests may also reserve fire pits for $40.

You will find something for everyone - corn maze, pumpkin patch, fall decor and more!  Admission is $12 per person, free for children under 3.

McKenna’s Family Farm

Branson, MO

Less than an hour south of Springfield is McKenna Family Farm. For the fall season, the farm is open Sept. 24 through Oct. 30. The farm offers a wood-pallet maze, big bale hay maze, big hay stack, tire mountain, hay ride through the woods and more. Admission is $7.50 for ages 3 and up.

Stotts City, MO

Fun Farm Play: All the indoor and outdoor play areas and activities your family can handle, from Racing Ducks in the Barnyard Maze to zooming down that huge 70ft slide, bouncing on the bounce pillow, train rides and hayrides til your heart's content, slides, barn swings, petting zoo, and MORE!

Pumpkin Patch: Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins! They have every kind of pumpkin imaginable for 50 cents and pound, and NO PUMPKIN OVER $12! Even that GIANT pumpkin in the field! White, green, orange, and every shade in between!

Corn Maze: This year, our corn maze will have multiple games marked with the length of each game before you enter. That way, you can pick the game that's just right for your family! They have the Color Find Game perfect for the littlest of tots and this year they have added a CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION game for all to enjoy! You get to help find the missing farmer in this kid-friendly, never haunted game!

Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park - Harvest Fest

Springfield, MO

A Midwest fall tradition! Join the Harvest Fest party on weekends with hayrides, cow train, inflatables, pony rides, kettle corn and more. Meander through the corn maze while playing along with the Agents of Discovery app. Harvest Fest happens on Saturdays, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sundays, 12-6 p.m., Oct. 1-23. Pick your perfect jack-o-lantern from our pumpkin patch, open during Harvest Fest or Tuesday-Friday, Sept. 27-Oct. 23.

Get lost in the 2.5-mile corn maze, which may take an hour. The “corn” is really sorghum, and you can learn all about this important crop as you twist and turn your way through, playing for prizes with the Agents of Discovery app! 

Find the perfect pumpkin for the season in our 5-acre pumpkin patch. Park concessions are onsite, including their famous kettle corn!

Fieth Family Farm

Bolivar, MO
