4th Annual Blanket and Sock Drive

Verus Network is proud to announce their 4th Annual Blanket and Sock Drive for Hulston Cancer Center.  The drive is happening November 14 - December 20, with delivery of the blankets to be made to Hulston Cancer Center on December 21st.

“Many of us know someone who has been affected by cancer,” Monica Kelts,  Director of Operations at Verus Network, said. “For me it was my dad, a few short years ago.  While undergoing his treatment at Hulston, I couldn’t help but notice that the blankets and socks were almost a necessity to bring a level of comfort to these patients. The goal of this drive is to provide some level of comfort as these warriors continue their battle.”

The purpose of this drive is to help support Hulston Cancer Center and every person who walks through those doors.  Each new patient will receive a blanket on their first day of treatment.  This provides a little bit of comfort as they begin an uncertain journey. 

The drive has grown over the years due to the community support.  In 2020, Verus Network collected over 200 blankets. In 2021, the group collected over 500 blankets and socks for Hulston Cancer Center. 

Blanket and sock donations can be dropped off at the Verus Network office located at 4235 S. Charleston Avenue, Springfield, MO 65804,  Monday - Friday from 9am-4pm.
